Storage and stability: keeping peptides intact
Unopened lyophilised vials are relatively stable, but they are best kept refrigerated at 2–8°C and away from light. For long-term storage, freeze the powder at -20°C.
Once reconstituted, a peptide is in solution and far less stable. Keep it refrigerated at all times and minimise the time it spends at room temperature.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted solution, which can degrade the peptide and reduce measured potency.
