What purity actually means

Purity describes the proportion of a sample that is the intended compound, with the remainder being related impurities or process residuals. Doctides compounds are selected to exceed 99% by HPLC.

Purity is distinct from net peptide content, which accounts for water and counter-ions bound to the peptide. Both figures appear on a complete analysis.

Higher purity reduces the variability of research results, which is why every batch is independently verified before release.
